SSS Coding Scheme 2024

The program is designed to decrease the number of vehicles on the streets by limiting specific cars based on the final digit of their license plates. This coding mechanism is implemented in all SSS branches nationwide, with some exemptions. For example, facilities in Baguio, Bacoor, and Cagayan De Oro follow a slightly adjusted timetable.

SSS Coding Schedule 2024

Initially, the SSS Number Coding Scheme aimed to decrease traffic by restricting the number of vehicles allowed to drive on particular weekdays. However, this plan has evolved to adapt to the city’s changing traffic conditions.

Schedule:

  • Monday: 1 or 2 are the last digits on those license plates.
  • Tuesday: 3 or 4 are the last digits on those license plates.
  • Wednesday: 5 or 6 are the last digits on those license plates.
  • Thursday: 7 or 8 are the last digits on those license plates.
  • Friday: 9 or 0 are the last digits on those license plates.

This schedule helps balance the number of vehicles on the road throughout the week, reducing congestion and smoothing daily commutes.

SSS Urdaneta Coding

The SSS Number Coding Scheme manages vehicle flow by designating specific days when vehicles must stay off the road. Different branches are identified by specific codes, as outlined below:

Code
Branch
0
ECC Central Office
1
NCR East District
2
NCR West District
3
International Operations Division
4
Luzon Region I
5
Luzon Region II
6
Visayas and Mindanao Regions

Understanding these codes is important for scheduling appointments or planning visits, as it ensures you arrive at the correct branch according to your vehicle’s number coding. The scheme is based on the last digit of a vehicle’s license plate, meaning if a plate ends in 1 or 2, it cannot be on the road on designated days.

Benefits of the SSS Coding Program

The Number Coding Scheme of the SSS provides numerous benefits:

  • Reduced Wait Times: Decreases long lines and waiting times at SSS branches by distributing weekly transactions.
  • Efficient Service: Improves the flow of people during peak periods, ensuring services are more efficient and less stressful.
  • COVID-19 Safety: Helped limit the spread of COVID-19 by reducing the daily number of visitors to SSS offices, enabling safer distancing and minimizing transmission risks.

Impact on Walk-in Transactions

The SSS Number Coding Scheme also impacts walk-in transactions. Members cannot conduct walk-in transactions on days when their number is restricted. If your number coding is scheduled for a particular day, you must visit the SSS branch or wait until the next available day.
