Saudi Arabia is set to make its mark on the international art scene with a groundbreaking contemporary art exhibition organized by the Museums Commission. With an aim to highlight Saudi art and promote its culture on a global stage, this initiative will serve as a major cultural exchange, starting with its debut in Brazil in November 2024, during the G20 Summit.
The exhibition will feature works from over 15 artists, showcasing the diversity and richness of Saudi contemporary art through sculptures, installations, oil paintings, and mixed media. Each artist represents different genres and generations, ensuring the display is both inclusive and expansive.
Global Tour with Strategic Timing
After Brazil, the exhibition will return to Riyadh and be hosted at the Saudi Museum of Contemporary Art in early 2025, located in the Jax district, a hub for creative communities.
The exhibition will then move to Beijing, where it will be displayed at the National Museum of China toward the end of 2025, marking a significant cultural exchange between Saudi Arabia and China.
