The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has stepped up its efforts to assist vulnerable communities in Syria and the Gaza Strip.
As of October 2024, the center has distributed 1,832 food boxes and hygiene kits to earthquake-affected areas in Idlib and Aleppo governorates in Syria. Additionally, 1,396 food parcels and shelter kits have been handed out in Khan Younis and Deir Al-Balah in Gaza.
This is part of the second phase of KSrelief’s comprehensive humanitarian project, providing critical aid to regions that continue to face the aftermath of conflict and natural disasters.
The project addresses urgent needs in northern Syria, where earthquake victims are still grappling with housing and food shortages, and in the Gaza Strip, where ongoing unrest has displaced thousands.
Long-Term Commitment to Humanitarian Aid
KSrelief’s mission extends beyond short-term relief. By partnering with local organizations and the UN’s refugee agency, KSrelief is laying the groundwork for long-term recovery and support.
This initiative is also part of Saudi Arabia’s broader humanitarian commitment, which has been ramped up under Vision 2030.
